Faith: Bible Chat & Study

Refund & Cancellation Policy

How to cancel, how to get a refund, and what happens to gifts and contributions.

Last updated 25 August 2026

This policy applies to purchases made inside Faith: Bible Chat & Study, operated by Boltt Infraventures Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under number 16819964.

Every purchase in the app is processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store, not by us. We never receive your card details and we cannot charge or refund your card directly. Refunds are issued by the store, under the store's own policy — the fastest route is always to ask them, and the sections below tell you exactly how.

1. Cancelling a subscription

You can cancel at any time. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not end your current period. Faith Pro keeps working until the date you have already paid through, and then the account returns to the free tier. Nothing you wrote is deleted when Pro ends — your conversations, saved verses and reading history stay.

Android

iPhone and iPad

  • Open Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → select Faith → Cancel Subscription

The app also has a shortcut: Profile → Subscription → Manage opens the right page for your device.

2. Requesting a refund

Android

Google Play allows a self-service refund within 48 hours of purchase from your order history. After 48 hours, request one at Google's refund request form. Google decides the outcome.

iPhone and iPad

Apple handles all refunds for App Store purchases. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, find the purchase and choose Request a refund. Apple decides the outcome.

If the store declines and you believe the charge was genuinely wrong — a double charge, a renewal after you cancelled, a purchase that never delivered what it promised — email faith@doodl.co with the order number. We will look at it and advocate for you with the store. We would rather refund an unhappy reader than keep the money.

3. Renewals

Subscriptions renew automatically. Your store notifies you before a renewal and the charge appears in your store account. If a renewal caught you by surprise because you meant to cancel and did not, tell us — we will help you ask the store, and we will not argue the point.

Under a subscription you are buying access for a period of time, not a quantity of use. We do not refund part of a period because it went unused.

4. Gifts

A gift purchase produces a redemption code. Once that code has been redeemed by someone, the gift has been delivered and cannot be refunded — the recipient now holds the subscription.

If the code is still unredeemed, email faith@doodl.co with the code. We will revoke it so it can never be used, and support your refund request with the store.

5. Pay it forward

A pay-it-forward contribution buys Faith Pro for a reader who cannot afford it. It grants nothing on your own account — that is the point of it, and it is stated before you buy.

Once a contribution has been used to fund somebody's subscription it cannot be refunded, because the access has already been given to a third party. If you contributed by mistake and the money has not yet been allocated, email us promptly and we will try to reverse it before it is granted.

6. Group licences

Group licences buy a fixed number of seats for a fixed term. Seats that have already been claimed by members cannot be refunded. If you bought the wrong number of seats and no members have joined yet, contact us within 14 days and we will sort it out.

7. Rewarded videos

Temporary unlocks earned by watching a video cost no money and therefore carry no refund. If you watched a video and the reward did not arrive, that is a bug — please report it to faith@doodl.co.

8. Service problems

If Faith Pro is unavailable for an extended period through our fault, contact us. Depending on the length of the outage we may extend your subscription or arrange a partial refund through the store.

9. Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits the consumer rights you have under the law of the country where you live.

If you are in the UK or the EU, you normally have 14 days to cancel a distance purchase. For digital content delivered immediately, that right ends once delivery begins with your agreement — and by starting to use Faith Pro straight after purchase, you are asking for immediate delivery and accepting that the 14-day right no longer applies.

We tell you that plainly rather than burying it, because the practical effect matters: if you bought Pro and have not used it, say so and we will help you get the money back regardless of whether the strict legal right survives. If Pro is faulty or not as described, your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply in full and are unaffected by anything above.

10. Contact

Include your order number and the email address on the account, and we will reply.
